Breaking Barriers: From Cramped to Open-Concept Living
Whole House
This home was full of walls, making the kitchen cramped and disconnected from the rest of the living spaces, with the laundry tucked away in the basement. The homeowners wanted a kitchen where multiple people could cook and prep together while staying connected to family and guests.
By removing a key wall in the kitchen, we opened the space to the dining area and highlighted a large picture window overlooking the landscaped backyard. This not only enlarged the overall space and brought in abundant natural light, but also reimagined the flow and function of the home. The main-floor laundry relocation, added storage, and open-concept layout combine style, efficiency, and family-friendly living in a bright, inviting space.
